The 8V Audi S3 offers all the fun of the ridiculous AWD Mk 7 VW Golf R in a package that you can look respectable driving daily, but the stock wheels are kind of vanilla, souring the otherwise awesome look of the car. That’s what drove LC, the owner of this Audi S3 to reach out to Sr Mod Expert Alan about a set of wheels for their 8V Audi S3.

LC was after something very specific when he was shopping for wheels, and so here in his own words is LC’s review of his experience working with Alan.
“I’m the owner of a 2015 Audi S3 and I had been wanting wider wheels for my S3 for a while. I saw that some other owners installed 19×9.5 wheels and I loved the concave look. Avant Garde seemed to be one of the few manufacturers that offered the proper offset for my car.”
“I shopped around and saw they were out of stock at most places. I then chatted with Alan Wei over on the ModBargains site. We looked at the Avant Garde M590 wheels first, but ModBargains was also out of stock on those wheels. Instead of waiting a month for them to come back in stock I asked about the Avant Garde M580s. Alan called around and was able to located the last full set of M580s that I wanted. He was also able to give me a price match to another online vendor.”
