A while back, the owner of this 2014 Ford Mustang V6 wanted to do a little something to make the 300HP 3.7 under the hood a bit more exciting to drive, and make it a bit more interesting to look at. The Mod Experts were just the men to help make that happen.
To give the car a bit more visual flare from the side profile, a set of MGP Caliper Covers for Ford Mustang, finished in red, were fitted to give the car a more color coordinated look, and the covers really do a lot to add visual interest to the wheel wells of the car.
With embossed Ford logos and silver details, these dress up the brakes a good bit. This is the front caliper.
On the rear caliper here, we get a better look at the Ford logo, which matches the Tri-Color Running Pony emblem in the centercaps.
The next step to adding some visual flare was to go install a spoiler. Since the 2013-14 S197 comes factory with a blackout panel on the tail, the dark black/grey tone of carbon fiber ties into the dark accented look of the rear of the car beautifully, so the Mod Experts recommended a GT500 style Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler for S197 Mustang from Seibon Carbon.

The factory exhaust of the 3.7 Mustang is about as exciting as a listing to a leaf blower revving. It just doesn’t sound good, and it’s not exactly ideal for performance. A Cat-Back exhaust both enhances flow and delivers a much better sound than the factory equipment. Being one of the best priced systems on the market with a great sound, the Mod Experts recommended this new Mustang owner opt for a MBRP Cat Back Exhaust for S197 Ford Mustang V6.
With dual 4in polished tips, this cat-back exhaust for S197 Mustang from MBRP fills the exhaust openings of the rear bumper for a muscular, “full” look. Have a listen to the sound for yourself.
The embossed MBRP logo on the tips is a nice touch.
After just a few small mods, this V6 looks worlds better than it did when it rolled in. The simple mods to this car just go to show that you can make even a V6 Mustang interesting and fun to drive with just a couple little tweaks.
