You Won’t Believe How This F30 BMW 328i Looks After We Did This…

Cars don’t just roll out of the dealership looking this way – after an extensive list of mods this BMW F30 looks nothing like a run of the mill 328i. Giovani came in with a bone stock 328i and left with the incredible machine you see above, and there’s certainly more to see than the exterior alone. It takes passion, expertise and work to pull off a car that looks fantastic and cohesive, and Giovani’s M-inspired F30 is clearly that.

We started with the exterior by removing the factory front and rear bumpers as well as the side skirts – we won’t be needing those.

Under the hood to give the N20 turbo four a lot more oomph, we fitted an Injen Cold Air Intake for BMW 328i which yields a whalloping 22whp gain and sharper throttle response.

Enhancing the power gain of the Injen intake, we’ve also replaced the failure prone, restrictive and leaky plastic stock chargepipes with an Evolution Racewerks N20 Charge Pipe for 2012+ BMW 328i, which enhances throttle response and decreases turbo lag with throttle-body matched 2.75in piping and streamlined contours.

Next, we moved onto lowering the car’s suspension and replacing the factory wheels. We installed a set of ST Suspension Coilovers to bring the car down and eliminate the excess wheelgap. We have a set of ST coilovers on our Project Fiesta ST and they’re a great option for daily driven cars that want more performance and handling on the street. To compliment the drop, we ditched the snooze-worthy OEM wheels for a set of slick Forgestar CF10 Wheels, spec’d out at 19×8.5 / 19×9.5 in Matte Black finish, topped off with a set of 235/70-19 265/35-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires to provide the grip to match.

Here’s a shot of the rear ST Suspension setup for the F30.

Next on the agenda was a REMUS Sport Quad Exhaust System for F30 BMW 328i, which meant the stock bumper just wouldn’t work for the quad outlets without cutting – so for the setup to look its best, we replaced the stock rear bumper with an M-Sport Style Rear Bumper for BMW 328i/335i [F30], fitted with a Performance Style Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser for F30 BMW 328i/335i M-Sport Bumpers with Quad Tips to really bring the package together.

Check out the closeup on the quad tips and Carbon Fiber Diffuser. That carbon weave looks stellar.

To enhance the side profile, we also installed a set of M-Sport Style Side Skirts for 2012+ BMW 328i/335i [F30] to complete the performance look we’ve started.

The finishing touch on the rear end though, was the Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler for 2013+ BMW 3-Series/M3 [F30/F80] that now sits on the rear decklid, really bringing the panda/carbon aesthetic together. The decklid’s also been debadged to give the rear end a cleaner look.

The real gamechanger though, was this F80 M3 Style Front Bumper for BMW 3-Series [F30], finished off with BMW Performance Gloss Black Kidney Grilles for a truly imposing effect.

Here’s the front 3/4 view – the car almost looks like it came from the factory that way, the package is so well coordinated.

The side profile is also much improved.

That rear end view though, is especially dramatic. It’s hard to believe this is even the same car anymore.

From straight on, the quad tips of the Remus Exhaust look rather imposing in the black chrome finish.
