A few days back Derek W brought in his VW Golf GTI VR6 to give the car an all new sound. The VR6 is reputedly one of the best engines to roll out of VW, and Mod Expert Blake set Derek up with an exhaust system that’d give him the sound he was after for his VW Golf GTI Exhaust.

With the install wrapped up, we headed outside to snap a few photos and get an idea of how the new exhaust system sounded.

The exhaust note reminds us of the Nissan VQ-series V6 (in the 350Z, G35 etc).
