Kyle is a neighbor of Sr Mod Expert Alan Wei, and a fellow Ford Fiesta ST enthusiast, and a fan of mountune parts. When Alan first told Kyle that we’d started carrying Fiesta ST parts here at ModBargains, Kyle knew where he was going to go when it came time to get his carefully selected upgrades installed. After a few conversations with Alan and a little bit of input from ST Specialist Nick, we had just the right set of mods picked out for Kyle’s tuxedo black mountune MP215-equipped Fiesta ST.

A big fan of like-OEM-fitment, Kyle has opted to go the mountune route for his engine tuning and power parts, already sporting a few goodies from the renowned tuning house. Check out how it all came together in the video below.

Like most owners out there, Kyle’s Fiesta ST brakes were worn out and due for service, so we opted for a set of StopTech Slotted Rotors for Fiesta ST paired with a set of Low-Dust Centric Posi-Quiet Brake Pads for Fiesta ST. Performance isn’t as sharp as the OEM pads, but they last longer and don’t create anywhere near the ridiculous amount of dust generated by the factory Fiesta ST brake pads – but a set of mountune RS-R brake pads for Fiesta ST would also be an ideal pairing.

Here’s how the rotors look fitted to the car from further away, and you can also appreciate the matte black 17×7.5 ET40 Sparco Pro-Corsa Wheels for Fiesta ST, wrapped in some grippy 215/40-17 Yokohama S-Drive tires. With the tuxedo black paint and matte black wheels, with a handful of yellow accents here and there, the car is working towards a cohesive mountune theme.
From this angle you can just barely see the underside of the mountune lower airbox for Fiesta ST used in the mountune MP215 Kit Kyle’s ST is fitted with.
We installed a mountune Rear Motor Mount for Fiesta ST as well (we’re currently running this in our own daily driver Project Fiesta ST – you can read our review of it here), dressing up the engine bay from below as well as making power much more predictable and consistent mid-corner under throttle, eliminating the clunkiness/harshness of 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd shifts the car suffers from stock, but has none of the vibration-at-idle some other competing RMM’s have – and your Ford Dealer can’t hassle you for this one, because all mountune parts are 100% Ford Warranty Approved if installed at a ASE Certified shop or dealer (read more about that at the previous link and for more click here & here) – and nearly everything mountune makes also has CARB approval, which is critical for Cali folks.

We’re sure this isn’t the last round of mods for Kyle’s Fiesta ST and look forward to the next round of upgrades to make this little hot hatch even more formidable. Thanks to Kyle for choosing us for his parts and install and we hope you enjoyed the photos and video.
