Customer Tosin A. wanted to liven up his 2011 BMW E90 335i to make his car stand out from the crowd, so he reached out to the Mod Experts to make that happen. After a bit of planning, the Mod Experts and Tosin put together a pretty comprehensive set of mods and set the date for the install to transform his E90.
This is a video post so watch the video above, and check out the info below to find out more.
As we’ve said a hundred times before, the best place to start with any car is a set of wheels. For the BMW E90 Wheels, the Mod Experts set Tosin up with a set of HRE FF01 Flow Form Wheels for BMW, in a 19in fitment. The Mod Experts spec’d out the FF01 HRE Flow Form Wheels at 19×8.5 ET30 / 19×10 ET40 in Liquid Silver finish, wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 tires to give it grip to match the performance of the HREs.
The Hankook Ventus Tires were spec’d at 235/35-19 up front, 265/30-19 in the rear. To drop the car to suit the new wheels, we had to lower the E90 Suspension. To achieve the reduction in ride height, we installed a set of ST Suspensions Coilovers For 2007-13 BMW 328i/330i/335i/xi [E90/E91/E92/E93].
Next up, we installed a Cobb Tuning Exhaust. The Cobb Cat-Back for E9X BMW 3-Series offers a great sound that’s neither too quiet nor too loud and yields a noticeable bump in horsepower and torque.

Then to give the car a sexier look, we installed a set of Carbon Fiber Front Splitters for 2009-11 BMW 328i/335i [E90] (LCI) w/MTech Bumper to give the BMW E90 Exterior a bit more aggressive of an aesthetic.

All in all, the finished product looks outstanding.
