The Mini Countryman is a cool little CUV, and being a Mini, it’s inherently fun. However the stock ride height is more appropriate for offroading and leaves the car looking far from its best. That’s why this Mini came in to see Mod Expert Tim to lower the suspension – and a set of custom Forgestar wheels is on order too, but we still have a few weeks left to wait on those.
In the meantime, we’ll be lowering this Mini Countryman Suspension with a set of V2 Coilovers from KW Suspension. As a KW Specialty Dealer we are able to offer not just the V1/V2/V3 normal KW line, but can also offer the full range of Clubsport and Street Comfort coilovers you can’t get elsewhere.
Master Installer Dave compresses the spring to thread the tophat.
Here’s how the KW coilovers look installed on the Mini. And here’s the rear view. The Mini uses a true coilover both front and rear for superior handling performance.
Dave checks the tire pressure, and now to snap some photos of the Mini’s new stance.
Dave consults with the owner to confirm the ride height is right where he wants it.
Sitting low, this Mini looks much sportier than it did and certainly handles more like its name. Check it out for yourself in the gratuitous photo gallery below. After all, a picture’s worth a thousand words, no?
That’s it for now, we hope you enjoyed the photos. We’ll be back in a few weeks when this Mini returns for its slick new set of Forgestars.
