The E90 BMW 335i definitely isn’t a slouch in the looks department, but who wants to look like every other 3-series out there? Tyler H definitely didn’t want to get lost in the crowd, and that’s why he came in to see Mod Expert Sean (714-582-3330 x8009) to give the car an aggressive facelift and a much better looking set of wheels.
At ModBargains install facility, ModAuto, our expert installation technicians take great care in making sure anything we install fits and fits well – which is why our Mod Experts will always double check everything to make sure that the parts you order are compatible with your car and any other mods you already have. It’s well known that even the best non-OEM brand isn’t always going to fit like the original OEM parts, so it takes experience to get the components to play nice, trimming or adjusting as necessary to achieve the right fit. That’s why we go out of our way to ensure our experienced techs have the finesse necessary to make aftermarket parts fit perfectly so that they look how they’re supposed to look- No one wants to have ugly panel gaps or sagging bumpers, right?
Installing the MTech MSport Style Rear Bumper
Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish the look of the rear end due to needing a replacement rear diffuser – getting a quad exhaust configuration to work on E9X 335i’s can be a bit of a challenge – Tyler had sourced one from elsewhere and it wound up not fitting properly. Bad luck. Nevertheless, the exposed massive quad tips still look badass poking out of the M-Sport rear bumper.
Installing the M3 Style Front Bumper
The new bumper sits nicely with the Forgestar F14s
The Gloss Black Forgestar F14s really tie together the more aggressive bumper package while maintaining the refined BMW aesthetic. Plus, with sticky Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires (235/35R19 in the front & 265/30R19 in the rear) he’ll be sure to notice the increase in traction, handling, and braking. Tyler and Sean really thought it out as they pieced together this E90.
The MSport accent colors on the kidney grills are a nice subtle addition. Paired with the smoked headlights and blackout emblem, the front end really means business.
Whether it’s on the mean streets of Southern California or a lonely country backroad, a BMW always looks like it’s ready to tear it up. With the MSport styling and accents, Tyler’s 335i won’t get lost in the fray.
