A few weeks back we hosted 1Fest, the biggest gathering of BMW 1-Series on the west coast – and our friends at Vogtland Springs donated two sets of Vogtland Springs for BMW E82 1-Series to our raffle. Stepping into the role of Mod Expert again, our Co-Founder Mike helped Carlos, who was one of our winners, to trade up, swapping the springs out for credit towards a set of Vogtland Coilovers for BMW E82 135i.
Here’s how the coilovers looked installed.
Here’s how the Galvanized Steel shock bodies look mounted in the car. Utilizing the same high quality shock bodies as KW and ST Suspension paired with Vogtland’s in-house manufactured springs, their engineers have created a quality coilover that delivers the great ride quality and handling Vogtland is known for.
Here’s how the rear setup looks.
We got the 1-series back on the ground and started dialing in the ride height of the 1-Series suspension.
From the side profile, the stance of the car looks great.
A few E82 Exterior mods also give the back end of the car a unique character. A Carbon Fiber Performance Style Rear Diffuser sets off the black exhaust tips, and the body-color Trunk Spoiler for E82 1-Series looks quite nice with the pairing.
