If there’s one thing you can say about Dodge, it’s that they certainly know how to make an impression. Dodge was the original “neckbreaker” back in the heyday of Musclecars with their funkily-named “hi-impact” colors that really made their cars get your attention. Dodge continues that tradition with their modern resurrection of their classic E-body, the current generation LC Dodge Challenger. And this Sublime example isn’t just any Chally, but a Hellcat.
With more than 700 horsepower on tap, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is certainly a beast to behold. With 707 horsepower on tap right off the showroom floor, it’s certainly a menacing beast. As always though, even the Hellcat’s claws can be sharpened with a clean set of wheels.
The factory wheels for Dodge Challenger aren’t terrible, but as always, there’s room for improvement.
What we have in store is a set of custom Matte Black F14s in a custom fitment from Forgestar Wheels specifically tailored to the Hellcat. The super deep concavity allows for the sort of ludicrously wide tire the Hellcat calls for, rather than the more conservative fitments you’d see for Dodge Challenger wheels.
To back up that 707hp drivetrain, the rest of the platform got some extra love from the MOPAR engineers – unique suspension and factory Brembo big brakes front and rear are all necessary to keep the power in check.
The factory Challenger Hellcat Exhaust sounds incredibly menacing.
