Phillip C is in the process of putting together what should be an incredible looking car when it’s finished, and short of a set of wheels, he’s there- Phillip C brought his B8 Audi S4 into Mod Auto to see Sr Mod Expert Alan to give the car’s suspension a drop and give the exhaust a more German sound. The first order of business was to install a new AWE Tuning Touring Exhaust for B8 Audi S4 to give the car more character and a tidy bump in horsepower.

Here’s a look at the ugly OEM exhaust system again.

Just like that, our techs had fitted the AWE Tuning Touring Exhaust for B8 Audi S4. This is the resonated version

of this exhaust system, which sounds incredible on the S4 without any obnoxious drone. The car already sports a R-Style Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser for B8 Audi S4 and the quad AWE Tuning polished exhaust tips are an excellent fit for its character.

Here’s another angle of the system. In addition to the AWE Tuning Exhaust, we also installed a set of H&R Sport Springs for Audi B8 S4 to drop the ride height just a bit and get rid of the excess wheelgap.

With the system installed, we headed outside to check out how it all came together. Complimenting the aggressive R-Style diffuser is a C-Style Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler for B8 Audi A4/S4 that extends the tail and gives the S4 a LOT more character.

To further enhance the car’s corner carving ability, we also installed a set of Hotchkis Sport Sway Bar Set for 2008+ Audi A4/S4 [B8] 22836 (22836) to dial out the understeer normally found in an Audi.
The car sports a host of other exterior mods that lend to its visual flair. An RS Style Grille for B8 Audi S4 looks especially sharp, and paired with the DTM Style Carbon Fiber Front Splitter, it looks downright mean. A set of carbon fiber mirror caps lend to its aggressive appearance and ties the whole package together.
Man, that looks mean, especially with those massive AWE Tuning exhaust tips.
The embossed AWE Tuning logo is a nice touch, too.

The H&R Sport Springs for Audi B8 S4 drop the ride just so – really, the only thing missing is a set of wheels, otherwise every box has been checked when it comes to making this S4 stand out from the crowd.
