When Gary G from Sherman Oaks picked up his 2016 F22 BMW M235i, he knew the stock wheels made his car look lame and so he contacted Mod Expert Sean (714-582-3330 ext 8009) to achieve a perfect OEM Plus look. After some discussion, Sean and Gary elected some Sportline 8S wheels in Gunmetal For BMW spec’d out at 18×8.5 ET45 and 18×9.5 ET45 with some nice matching Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/40/18 and 255/35/18. To really dial in the new M235i, Vogtland Springs and some 5mm H&R spacers were added to the order.
Of course, you gotta start somewhere-but here’s the stock M235i on the lift waiting for transformation.
We do full wheel mounting and balancing here, so pulling the Sportline 8S wheels for BMW and Michelin Tires out of our warehouse was pain free and we quickly had the new set ready to be installed.
Gary also picked up some Vogtland Sport Springs for 2014+ BMW 228i M235i and so an alignment here on our lowered friendly Hunter Laser super alignment rack was the next step after New wheels, tires, spacers and springs.
The only thing left after wheels/tires/springs/alignment/install was some photos-and THIS is truly how the car should have come stock. But it didn’t. So call us and we’ll make it look the way it should have.

By eliminating the ugly excessive wheelgap with the Vogtland springs, the car not only looks better, but corners harder as well, and the addition of 5mm spacers pushes the wheels out just enough to more completely fill out the fender arches, creating a much more muscular look.
