When you pair a great performance tire with a lightweight, high performance wheel, then the results are especially amazing. Such is the case with Chun, who owns this Audi 8V A3 that reached out to Sr Mod Expert Alan Wei to pick up a new set of wheels.

When it comes to wheels for 8V Audi A3 + S3, you need to keep in mind the higher offsets needed for a compact car with a narrower body – fortunately HRE Performance Wheels offers their Flow Form line in the offsets needed. Alan recommended a set of HRE FF15s in a square fitment of 19×8.5 ET47, finished in liquid silver. The HRE FF15 is lighter than the stock wheels, and simply by virtue of being lighter, that means faster acceleration, sharper braking and better handling performance.

We asked Chun why he got started modding. His answer:
“I’ve always loved cars and learning about them. But I never really got into modding too much until I bought my 2015 Audi A3 2.0T Prestige.
