Wow, what a ride it’s been. Can you believe that tomorrow it’ll be 2014? Thanks for all of your support through 2013 and helping us bring our Experience, Expertise and Enthusiasm to the auto enthusiast community. Given that it’s New Years Eve, we figured that there’s no better time to look back at the year behind us and at some of the most fun events we’ve hosted and been a part of.
Most recently, we were out at SoCal Euro showing our stuff – and our two models, Arley Elizabeth (http://instagram.com/arrrrlz http://www.arleyelizabeth.com/) and Corissa Furr (http://instagram.com/corissafurr http://www.corissa-furr.com/) were there to spice things up, too. The cars were hot and so were the professionals.

While traditionally we’ve been largely involved in european Makes, the new Toyobaru (Scion FR-S/Subaru BR-Z/Toyota GT86) has been fantastic modification platform with one of the strongest and most active enthusiast bases around. The FR-S/BR-Z effectively manages to capture the “do more with less” philosophy of the original AE86 Corolla GT-S, which wasn’t the fastest or best handling car of its time, but unquestionably one of the most fun to drive. It’s impossible to throw one of these through a sweeper and not have a goofy grin plastered across your mug. After how huge 86 Fest was in 2012, we sure weren’t going to miss it in 2013. So, we packed it up and headed to Auto Club Speedway.

May took us to Bimmerfest 2013, which was fun as always and a great opportunity for the Modification Experts to talk to our customers in person outside of the shop.

Back in April, we had a BMW CCA Car Show right here – which is especially fun for our BMW Modification Experts, since they see many of the vehicles they’ve sent parts to over the course of the year in person. The Dogzilla food truck came out, but the main attraction was the teutonic beauties on display in front of our shop.
