When we last saw Patrick’s F30 BMW 335i a few months back, it had just been converted to M-Sport… but like any project car, nothing stays the same for long…
Take a good last look at the M-Sport Front bumper for BMW F30 – it’s going bye bye!
ModAuto Tech Juan gets to work getting the car onto the rack so we can get started with the new front end- yup, we’re converting this BMW F30 to an F80 M3 style front bumper for BMW F30 3-Series (non-M).
Here’s the F80 M3 style front bumper for BMW F30, prior to installation.
The F80 M3 style front bumper comes complete with the grilles, headlight washer doors, lower grilles and everything else necessary to complete and install the bumper. As we’ve mentioned before, we offer paint services for local customers – the bumper matches the rest of the car beautifully.
The M3 style bumper is a great compliment to the Carbon Fiber Kidney Grilles for BMW F30, and the carbon gives them a great accent. Knowing Patrick, our best guess is a splitter isn’t too far off…
That M3 look bumper isn’t for nothing, either – when we last spoke to Patrick (and as we covered in our previous feature on his F30) was laying down around 400whp but more importantly, nearly 505lb/ft of torque. Taking a step back to appreciate the whole package, the BMW Performance F30 M-Sport Side Skirts go really well with the M3 style bumper and the drop thanks to the KW Coilovers for BMW F30 really makes the whole car “pop”.
As we’ve mentioned before, the set of BMW F30 wheels on Patrick’s F30 are Rohana RC10’s in 20×9 up front and 20×11 out back – and that BMW Performance ///M Performance Big Brake Kit for BMW F30 still looks boss as ever with their red calipers peeking out from behind the black spokes of the Rohanas.
Here’s a close-up, top-down look at the bumper so you can get a better idea of its contours.
Patrick’s BMW F30 3-series M-Sport Style Rear Bumper looks great as ever and the Carbon Fiber M Sport Style Rear Diffuser still does a great job framing the cat-back exhaust.
