The right set of wheels can change everything – that’s why this E93 BMW M3 Cabrio came in to see Mod Expert Sean about set of new wheels for E9X BMW M3. As we said in our guide to the best mods for E92 BMW M3, a few visual tweaks can really give your M3 a look and personality that’s distinctly you, which is why we also were going do something about the M3’s otherwise stock exterior.
And do something we did – but we’ll start with the wheels. Mod Expert Sean knows a thing or two about fitments for the E9X BMW M3, since he drives one of the sickest daily driven E92 M3’s we’ve seen – so of course he’d suggest something lightweight and strong. A set of rotary-forged Forgestar Wheels would be just the thing. Each set of Forgestar Wheels is custom-made to order for each specific vehicle, so they’ll machine each set, factoring in whether you’re lowered, widebodied, have a big brake kit etc – and can be ordered in a variety of colors. However, each set takes a minimum of 8 weeks to produce.

That’s why we stock the most common fitments and color choices here at ModBargains, right here in our warehouse so we have Forgestars in stock, ready to go – and the E9X M3 happens to be our most popular fitment. Mod Expert Sean knew we had this set of Super Deep Concave Forgestar F14 19×10 ET20 wheels in Gunmetal on hand and ready to be fitted with tires – we also happen to be a major stocking distributor for Michelin Tires, so we also mounted and balanced a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires to match, offering fantastic grip for a street tire.

The wider front fenders of the E9X BMW M3 allow you to run a super deep concave wheel both front and rear, and holy crap does it look good.

Check out the look in the rear as well. The concavity of the wheels gives the M3’s bulging fenders a lot more dimension and actually gives you the sense that it actually is wider than a regular 3.
To give this M3 Exterior a bit of visual aggression to match the wheels, Sean recommended a CPS Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler for E9X BMW M3 to really complete the look- and the result is certainly breathtaking and beautiful.
The CPS Carbon Fiber Front Lip for M3 extends just enough to give the splitter a bit of function and also really rounds out the look of the front end, giving the M3 the character it always should have had, really “completing” the front end.

The combination of the super deep concave wheels with the aggression of the front splitter turns this M3 that might otherwise disappear into the background into a car you’ve gotta stop and stare at.

Look at that gorgeous rear profile – the depth of the wheels really brings out the hips of the car, allowing the natural beauty of the car’s design to shine through.

Taking a step back, just these few simple changes have made a huge impact visually on this M3 cabrio – it’s gone from a bit of a sleeper to positively stunning.

We can’t say enough about how much we love how this M3 came out – everything just looks “right”, as an M3 should. It just goes to show how easy it can be to turn your car into something that stirs your soul every time you look at it, and the Mod Experts can tell you exactly how.
