After years of kicking himself over selling his 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Rob decided to get back what was his and bought a slightly newer 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in July of 2013. Rob decided he would waste no time with his second chance, “It was in great shape and only had 29k miles on it, but it was bone stock. After the first month I got the itch to go faster so I added a small cam and longtubes.”

So now the ‘vette was sounding great and Rob was happy, until one of his best friends out ran him in a built Trans Am, this did not set well with Rob, “I decided it was time for upgrades and set upon the path.”
Rob immediately knew that with more power comes more responsibility and he was going to need a major upgrade in the traction department. Rob’s journey did not stop at the wheels he then went on to add more power. “I opted for an A&A supercharger kit with a t-trim blower.” Being not only an enthusiast but a gear head as well, Rob took on the task of installing this himself.
“It was built in my garage on jack stands with the help of a couple of close friends. The car now makes 666rwhp and 541ft/lbs of torque. I don’t have a problem with my buddies Trans Am anymore… or any other car, for that matter.”

Rob is not sure what the future holds for his Z06 but he assures us there will be more power and he will probably never feel that is is fast enough.
