The other day we couldn’t help but notice this very clean classic 1995 BMW M3 in the shop for a few mods, and we were quite surprised at the suite of mods it was in for. Sr Mod Expert Alan Wei had been working with the owner of this classic 1995 E36 BMW M3 coupe to rejuvenate its appearance and sporting cred.

First order of business was a new set of wheels and tires. Sr Mod Expert Alan recommended a set of EuroTek U02 Wheels for BMW, fitted in 18×8.5 ET35 on all four corners, with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 Tires, spec’d in 225/40-18.

After fitting the wheels, a drop was the next order of business. BC Racing offers some incredible bang for the buck with their line of coilovers, offering 30 way adjustment at a price that won’t even snag you entry level KWs – making them an insane value. Next up, we installed a set of DEPO HID Projector Headlights for BMW E36, which eliminate the hazy OEM headlights with a vastly superior projector elements and high intensity discharge lighting that’s much brighter than the original incandescent bulbs. To further clean up the front end, we also ditched the ugly amber front reflectors and installed a set of Clear Corner Lenses for BMW E36.

The new DEPO projector headlights also feature LED angel eyes, giving the E36 a thoroughly modernized look, taking years off its appearance.
Here’s a better look at the LED halos on the DEPO HID Projector E36 Headlights.
From every angle, these LED angel eyes look great and are bright and crisp, and the fact that we can see these clearly in DAYLIGHT means that these are bright and crisp and will be visible both day and night.

We’re really pleased with how well the E36 M3 came out, and goes to show that much like you can give a person a makeover, you can do the same to an older car for the same result – the owner seemed as happy with the results as we were, too. We hope you enjoyed the photos!
