AUDIYOS: B8.5 Audi S4 on HRE P44SC gets AWE Tuning Exhaust & AP Racing RadiCAL Big Brake Kit

Today we’re going to look back at one of our favorite builds here at the shop – one that unfortunately met its demise as soon as the car was finished, ironically enough. None the less, we wanted to look back at Ernie’s heartbreakingly gorgeous B8.5 Audi S4, appropriately dubbed, “M3NAC3”. Mod Expert Sean had been working with Ernie to build up the incredible vehicle you see above.

Ernie’s a guy who likes power in his cars, which is why Mod Expert Sean recommended making a few upgrades under the hood – starting with the B8.5 Audi S4 Intake.

Sean set Ernie’s S4 up with a AWE Tuning S-Flo Intake for B8.5 Audi S4 to enhance the supercharged V6’s breathing abilities to the tune of 15hp / 11tq.

Taking it a step further is a AWE Tuning Performance Pulley for B8.5 Audi S4, increasing boost for a yield of an additional 30hp and 20tq. Enhancing the aesthetics up front is a RS4 Style Black Mesh Honeycomb Grille for B8.5 Audi S4, which gives the car a more aggressive yet distinctly European touch.

Ernie’s a guy who likes things fast, loud and aggressive, which is why Sean set him up with the AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust for B8.5 Audi S4.

With Quad 102mm Diamond Black tips, the AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust for B8.5 Audi S4 is a perfect match for the hyper-aggressive Enlaes rear diffuser.

With more than 400hp worth of “GO” under the hood, this S4 needs stopping power to match – which is why an AP Racing RadiCal Big Brake Kit was just what the doctor ordered to match those gorgeous HRE Gloss Gold P44SC Forged Wheels.

Giving the car the drop it needed to eliminate the excess wheelgap and sharpen the handling is a set of H&R Street Performance Coilovers for B8.5 Audi S4. With the car basically done, we figured we should get some photos.

Sadly, this was the last time we saw this car – an accident in traffic totalled the S4 shortly after leaving the shop. Ernie, we are happy to say, is just fine, but the beautiful M3NAC3 S4, unfortunately, did not survive.
