One of the best mods to start off with when modifying virtually any car is a set of lowering springs. Lowering your car eliminates the excessive wheelgap the car has from the factory, making the car look cooler and the lower center of gravity and high performance spring rates allow your car to carve the corners harder than before. That’s what the owner of this VW Jetta GLI Mk VI wanted to do, and so they sought out the help of the Mod Experts at ModAuto.

To drop the VW Jetta MK6 suspension, we’ll be fitting a set of lowering springs from H&R Suspension. The Mod Experts recommended a set of H&R Sport Springs for VW Jetta GLI MK VI.

The H&R Sport Springs will lower the Jetta GLI a total of 1.3in both front and rear, eliminating the wheelgap while still leaving enough clearance to prevent the car from having issues being dailydriven.
