Scion FR-S RS 2.0 OEM Wheels w/Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires
Landin A had just picked up his 2016 Scion FR-S RS 2.0 when he brought the car in to ModAuto for a visit with Mod Expert Sean to fit the FR-S with some new wheels. Sure the RS wheels are pretty good looking, but they’re a touch skinny and do sit kinda inboard, so some new wheels for Scion FR-S would be a great place to start.
Arguably the best equipped FR-S to ever be produced, the RS 2.0 features this gorgeously appointed leather interior option along with unique paint, wheels and other accessories to make the FR-S feel more like a luxurious driver’s car – something more Porsche than Toyota.
Wheels alone make a huge difference in terms of the car’s cosmetics and its performance. Sean set Landin up with a set of HRE Flow Form FF15 Wheels for Scion, spec’d out at 18×9.5 ET40 on all four corners with 245/35-18 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 Tires to match. While we can’t speak to the weights of the OEM RS 2.0 wheels, we can tell you the HRE FF15 Flow Form wheels we installed are lighter than most factory wheels, resulting in a reduction of unsprung mass for better handling.
The HRE FF15 wheels are the black tarmac finish, which compliments the car’s unique gloss gray exterior.
Here’s a look at the side profile, though it is worth saying that the car could definitely use a drop.
Gosh, we love that interior. Thanks to Landin for sharing his FR-S with us, and we hope you enjoyed the photos.
