This modded Chevrolet Camaro SS is certainly a head turner – while some may only hear the V8 rumble and see the gorgeous deep blue metallic finish, the end result of the look of this Camaro is more than just the sum of its parts – and some of those parts came via the Mod Experts at ModBargains. As we mentioned in our Best Mods for Gen 5 Camaro writeup, the factory Camaro Wheels are extremely heavy, and not exactly the most stylish things out there, so a set of wheels can have a huge impact on the style and PERFORMANCE of your Camaro.

TheMod Experts set this owner up with a set of VMR Wheels V710s, in a 19in fitment with a gunmetal finish that works wonderfully with the dark blue paint.
The right performance parts are essential if you want to get the most power out of your LS3 V8 engine. Fitted with a Roto-Fab Intake for V8 Camaro SS feeding into a VMAX Ported Throttle Body and an ECU managed with a custom flash tune for Camaro SS by FROST, the LS3 has no trouble inhaling. Nope, this LSx has no breathing restrictions on the exhale either, with a set of Stainless Works Headers feeding High Flow Cats that dump into a Stainless Works Exhaust, this is a car you’ll hear coming from miles away.

Of course, the Camaro suspension isn’t totally stock either, with a set of UMI Performance Trailing Arms and Driveshaft tunnel brace, this is a car oriented for straightline performance, with a Barton Short Throw Shifter and GTO Clutch Reservoir helping cut down the shift times. Further strengthening the chassis is a GM Performance Parts strut tower brace.
The Stainless Works Exhaust tips just barely poke out of the GM Performance Parts ground effects.
Up front, we can see the RS HID projector headlights fitted with AAC 6000k HIDs and the fogs are kept bright with a JDP fog light harness. The car’s clean look is enhanced by the fact there’s no ugly yellow blob on each cheek of the car – that’s because the ShowStopper LED corner markers make em disappear. What’s more, the GM Performance Parts Heritage Grille for the Camaro looks awesome when painted body color.
