The stock Infiniti G37 Wheels are pretty bland – like we can see on the Athens Blue G37 below. In fact, their design is so boring and neutral, they make buttered toast look exciting and revolutionary. What’s more, the terrible 4×4 factory ride height makes your car look as appetizing as a soup sandwich, which is a shame, since The G37 coupe is actually a pretty handsome car with a few tweaks here and there. A drop and set of wheels is a great place to start, as with the case with Eric R’s Athens Blue G37 we shot a while back.

Eric R’s G37 boasted the more aggressive front bumper option, and had already fitted a Stillen front lip to the G37 exterior to make things more interesting, so a set of wheels from the Mod Experts at ModBargains was just the ticket. Our Mod Experts set Eric up with a set of TSW Nurburgring 19×8.5 / 19×9.5 Wheels for Infiniti G37, finished in Matte Gunmetal, paired with a set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 245/40-19 and 275/40-19 tires to put that VQ37VHR power to the ground.  What’s more, the G37 Suspension has been upgraded with a set of Tanabe NF210 Lowering Springs for Infiniti G37 to eliminate the disgusting, vomit-worthy factory 4×4 wheelgap.

The Tanabe NF210 Lowering Springs for Infiniti G37 lower the G37 coupe by 1.0in up front and .7in at the rear for a subtle drop that gives the G37 the look it should have had from the factory while still leaving enough clearance to not interfere with daily driving. The matte gunmetal finish gives the car a nice dark accent that keys in well, but doesn’t disappear into the background as matte black wheels can often do when there’s too much dark. This close to the front bumper, you can just barely make out the filter of the Takeda Air Intake for Infiniti G37 hiding behind the grille.

With the Stillen front lip and sitting low on the Tanabe Springs for G37, this G looks “as it should have come”.

The side profile is great too, giving the car a sporty, fun to drive look, rather than the bloated feel of something your grandfather’s golf partner might drive.

The simple addition of wheels, suspension and an exhaust system has transformed the Infiniti G37 from something bland into something aggressive and stunning. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to get more photos, but even in just these few photos, you can easily see the enormous difference it makes.
