As we’ve said before and we’ll say many, many more times, the right wheels and tires can really make or break the look of your car, even if your starting point is a fairly high end sport sedan like an F10 BMW 535i M-Sport. The factory wheels on the F10 for some reason are especially awful, keeping this otherwise gorgeous saloon from looking its best. With a little help from the Mod Experts, however, it’s easy to make your F10 really shine. The Mod Experts were instrumental in assisting the owner of this F10 BMW 535i M-Sport.
Sporting the BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Front Splitter for F10 5-Series M-Sport, the car’s looks were really being let down by the stock wheels. Since we were already working with an M-Sport with some exterior mods, the right set of wheels for F10 BMW 5-Series were what the car so desperately needed. The Mod Experts recommended a set of HRE Flow Form Wheels, finished in Liquid Silver to match the car’s exterior color.
The Mod Experts spec’d out a set of HRE FF01 Liquid Silver wheels in 19×9 ET25 up front with a 19×10 ET40 in the rear to give the back end some concavity. To ensure the turbo six under the hood gets the power to the rear wheels, some performance tires were in order. Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires are often in stock here at ModBargains, and they’re one of the most popular performance tires around if you’re serious about your handling.
While the front wheels are only 9in wide, there’s still enough concavity and diameter to look perfectly appropriate for the bigger body 5er without the need to go up to heavy 20in wheels for the car to “look right”.
The Liquid Silver finish looks especially good in the sun.
Like we said, the right set of wheels can make a huge difference in the appearance of your car and can really “complete the look”, not to mention the performance benefits of running lighter than stock wheels, and we love the way these came out.
