Jeff D’s E92 BMW M3 on Super Wide Forgestar CF5V Wheels

Every once and a while we get to do something that looks really incredible. One of our Mod Experts was recently contacted by a customer with a E92 BMW M3 who was interested in a set of Forgestar CF5V Wheels – on the other end was Jeff D’Amore in NJ. Though he was interested in just a regular setup with his CF5Vs, our Mod Experts pointed out that since Jeff had an E92 M3, he can accommodate a really aggressive setup in the back without too much trouble thanks to the M3’s natural setup with more clearance than a non-M E92.

The customer was a little skeptical an aggressive fitment would work, but he trusted the experience of our Mod Experts, having helped out hundreds, if not thousands of customers with BMW E9X chassis 3-series.

Thanks to the added clearance of the M3, we let Jeff know that he could run a 19×11″ setup out back with the Forgestars, wrapped in super beefy 305/30R19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires to get the power of the M3 reliably – and stylishly to ground. Up front, the car was able to run a 19×9.5, wrapped in 265/30R19s for a truly staggered setup.

Since Forgestar Wheels are a custom wheel and made-to-order (though ModBargains orders and keeps a large inventory of Forgestar wheels ready to go in the most popular fitments & styles), these had to be produced. The Mod Experts kept Jeff in the loop at every step of the way, providing updates on where the wheel was in the manufacturing process, how the wheels looked after powdercoating and provided him images of the wheels and tires mounted before we shipped them from La Habra, CA to New Jersey.

Once the Forgestar CF5V wheels for M3 made it to Jeff, he got them mounted on his E92 M3, and to his surprise, those deliciously meaty 305-series rears actually fit, just as promised. Jeff tells us his next mod will be a set of Front Splitters, but he’s undecided on which type yet. Regardless of what he chooses to do, we are sure it will look positively badass.
