The other day we had this handsome Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabrio Black Edition come into the shop to give it an exhaust note befitting a Carrera S. Sr Mod Expert Elliott Goodman got in touch with this customer who wanted the Fabspeed Maxflo Exhaust for 997 Porsche Carrera, and he wanted to have installed as well.|
We’re a major Fabspeed distributor and installing Porsche exhausts is no sweat for us, so Elliott got the system ordered and we got to work.
This lightweight exhaust was around half the weight of the stock exhaust system, and Fabspeed Motorsport’s Maxflo exhaust system unlocks an additional +12whp and +11wtq – which is nothing to sneeze at since this is wheel-horsepower we’re talking here and and power is harder to make on an Naturally Aspirated Carrera.
This customer opted to go with black tips, which proved the perfect compliment to the “Black Edition” graphics and blacked out wheels and emblems.
As you can see, the difference is pretty clear.
